Club Vass Diva Week...Starting 13th of June!
The first of our dedicated girls' windsurfing clinics, Club Vass Diva Week, will be starting on the 13th of June. Offering Yoga, Mountain Biking, Salsa Lessons and Cocktail Nights as well as loads of Windsurfing, the weeks are tailored to suit all levels of ability and offer coaching specific to the needs of windsurfing divas.

Windsurf 4 Cancer Research
Windsurf 4 Cancer Research organise a charity event each year called Sunrise to Sunset, which happens on the 2nd of May. We will be opening Club Dahab at 5.30am and closing at 7 pm and are hoping to get as many of you as possible involved with the day.
Dahab club manager John Palmer and Sam Ross have set the challenge of doing 50 forward loops each in a day if it is windy. If it isn't windy they will be on the water windsurfing all day with no breaks!
Whoever raises the most will have to do the whole day in Speedos. So be generous, donate lots and we will put a video up for you to see how the week and the event went. Go to http://www.justgiving.com/John-PalmerK718 to make a donation.

Travel Disruptions 16/4/10
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
The effects of the volcanic eruption in Iceland are now substantial. So far eight countries have partially closed their airspace. According to the most recent findings the airspace could be significantly affected until midday Saturday and potentially further.
As a result of this and in the first instance, Club Vass would like to advise that anyone flying over the weekend, contact their Airline directly for all updates on their flights.

Club Vass HISC Round the Island Windsurf Race
We are proud to be the title sponsors for the Club Vass Round Hayling Island Windsurf Race in association with Hayling Island Sailing Club. The event takes place on the 2nd of April 2010, with some of the best windsurfers in the country taking part and entertainment throughout the day for all the family. Vassiliki Watersports Festival confirmed start date
The 4th year of the Vassiliki Watersports Festival has been confirmed to start on the 11th of June 2010. The event is the biggest Festival of its kind in Greece and includes an Open Windsurf Slalom Event, a Sailing Regatta, a Miss Bikini competition and live bands...plus much more! Ollie Scott named New Centre Manager at Vass
UK No.3 Ollie Scott, has been announced as Centre Manager at Club Vassiliki in Greece. Ollie has been windsurfing for 10 years and brings with him a wealth of experience having worked at all of Club Vass' centres. Ollie is looking to introduce more racing events to Vass in 2010.
